Susan has contributed a series of photographs to the exhibition ‘Ghost Notes‘ by Divergent Contemporary Art Collective. The exhibition will run until the 30th July at Oriel Bevan Jones, Carmarthen.
‘Ghosts Notes’ explores the liminal spaces at the edges of our conscious awareness, the hazy images, fleeting thoughts and ghostly visions that tease the periphery of our minds.
The exhibition traces the seasons of our lives, from the young child frightened at bed-time, through the menopausal woman making sense of her changing life and body, to the crone, in her armchair, contemplating the ghostly images emerging from her consciousness.
Divergent Contemporary Art was founded in Carmarthen in 2017 by Mark Ingram, Fi Latus and Susan Matthews.
