Susan has contributed new music to the compilation Drawn Sound for the label IFar Musique Concrete. The album is a tribute to pioneering composer Daphne Oram. Susan’s contribution ‘The Concrete Train‘ begins with field recordings of a train journey from Carmarthen to Swansea, overlayed with an electronically generated cello solo. The journey leads to the acoustic grand piano in the BBC Hall, for an improvisation based on a photograph of a surgical procedure.
