“‘October Reimagined’ is a project I began back in the mid 1990s while studying music at college. I was tasked with making an arrangement of the piano composition ‘Octobre : Chant d’automne’ by Tchaikovsky. Much to the horror of my tutor I elected to arranged it for vocal ensemble! I completed one movement and then moved on. More than 25 years later I found my original, hand-written manuscript tucked away in a dusty storage box and began working on it once again…” (Susan Matthews, December, 2024)
